Dr. Michitti knows what it’s like to be a patient in need of a healthy, happy smile. As a child, he made many trips to the dentist’s office, and has always sympathized with patients who have to spend a lot of time in the dental chair. Thanks to these experiences and encouragement from his own dentist and Cousin Paul (also a dentist), Dr. Michitti attended and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Michitti values the education he received from Ohio State, but he never stopped learning! He’s completed several courses at the prestigious Dawson Academy, where he learned how to best care for his patients, and realized just how strong the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body is. Dr. Michitti is also considered a “Top 1% Dentist” for achieving a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Overall, this avid, lifelong student has invested thousands of hours to active learning. Along the way, he’s expanded upon his skills in several advanced treatments, including dental implants, and established a network of industry peers. Dr. Michitti appreciates this network the most, as their collaborative efforts empowers the whole group to provide a higher level of quality dentistry to their patients.
At home, Dr. Michitti is just as dedicated (if not more) to his family. He and his wife can often be seen up in the stands, cheering on their son and daughter at their swim meet. Even though the growing season is relatively short, Dr. Michitti also considers himself an amateur vegetable gardener.
If you’ve been to the office, though, you might have a suspicion as to what Dr. Michitti’s true passion is. He takes great pride in his skills as a handyman, and doesn’t hold back any tips, tricks, ideas – or issues of Handyman magazine! Perhaps that’s why he’s so good at helping patients restore their smiles.
I used to be scared to go to the dentist but now I go faithfully due to the compassion of all the staff here. They really listen and make sure you are comfortable with every step they take. I highly recommend Lifetime Dental for anyone that has dental phobia - they will take that away!!
